Deeanne has enjoyed singing from a very young age, after battling with nerves throughout her teen years, she finally decided to join a band, later to be named 'Dexeter'
In 2014, Deeanne and the band made their first of three appearances at Country 2 Country festival, held at London’s O2 Arena. Over the two years that followed, the band gained traction and built a loyal fanbase by performing memorable shows at some of the UK’s most renowned country music festivals, including main stage at Buckle & Boots Festival, Cottingham Folk Festival and a number of special performances for ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris, including the Silverstone Grand Prix.
Nominated for Best Female Vocalist at The British Country Music Awards in 2017, Deeanne has gone from strength to strength, not only selling out her own UK tour with Dexeter in 2017 but earning support slots with UK country giants The Shires and Ward Thomas.
After a number of captivating live performances on BBC Radio 2 and ITV’s This Morning, Deeanne is shaping her exciting new sound as a solo act and released her debut solo EP in October 2021, with 3 of the 4 tracks featuring on BBC Radio 2. ‘
Deeanne's live performance experience expands beyond touring original music, in 2017 she joined West End theatre production "Chicago Blues Brothers' and was able to travel all over the UK and Europe.. Including Switzerland! Most recently, Deeanne has joined Country Music theatre production 'One Night in Texas' and will be gracing the theatre's of the UK once again.
Deeanne has also been performing at weddings & corporate events for over a decade and absolutely loves doing them, in her own words "even if I won the lottery, I would still sing for wedding ceremonies. Being part of someone's special day is such a wonderful feeling, one that I am lucky to experience"
